I'm Pete, bassplayer and teacher based in the Netherlands.

I've studied bassguitar and double bass at the conservatory in Amsterdam (Netherlands). My musical interest is very broad.

I play (and have played) pop, jazz, rock, symphonic rock, lounge, funk, blues, soul etc..

On my website you can find transcriptions of popular songs as well as songs which did not reach the charts. I select songs first at my own preference.

But suggestions are always more than welcome!

I usually upload 4-6 video's per month on my YouTube Channel BasscoverPete. On a regular basis I add a video 'The Main Groove Explained'. Here I explain how the main grooves of a song can be played. Sometimes I (also) add a video with only bass & drums grooves of the song.
